“I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. My son has been taking jujitsu here since January. My son is autistic, and has some trouble with self-regulation and impulse control. Jim and Don (and everyone else) have been so good with him. They allow him to be himself without letting him get away with acting out. I recently started taking classes here myself, and everyone has been so welcoming. I have no martial arts experience, and they have been totally willing to take the time to help me learn, and the more experienced students have been really good sports about helping the new girl. We love it here. They have a lot to offer. Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Karate, Judo…..lots of options for kids and adults.”

“I have been training in Brazilian Jiujitsu for 20 years. I’ve trained with many in the Capital region. The technique is very good and there’s a place for the recreational player and professional competitors alike. There is a strong camaraderie amongst all members. I’m especially impressed by the number of female practitioners there are. This is typically a sign of a school that is supportive and fosters a safe environment that nurtures respect. Not to mention that they also have showers on the premises. That’s a huge plus.”
