“Amazing place! We relocated to Annapolis in August and wanted to find a Jiu Jitsu place for our son, who’s 7. We didn’t know much about Jiu Jitsu but it had been recommended to us by family to try. Our son was struggling with the move and missing friends and needing something he could feel a part of. Us too! We feel so lucky to have searched the area and found shoreline! From the initial contact- it was amazing (clear information online, no hidden fees or surprises, free trial classes etc and quick communication) we felt part of the group straight away and welcomed. Our son has a place he feels connected to and belongs to, being able to have instruction from the best coaches who are so wonderful with kids, and being part of a welcoming community is so great. It’s friendly, accepting of all, great parents to chat to, and lots of class opportunities to join into each week. Don't hesitate to try this place. Raising kids is about finding a village and learning through others too and through shoreline and max and heathers commitment- our son now has grown his village! It’s a special gem and so happy we found it!!”

We love being part of a gym where the instructors truly know and care about our children. The instructors, Max and Heather are absolutely amazing with the kids and make learning so much fun. The patience and kindness they show the children is incredible. The self defense techniques that they are learning through games are amazing. “I cannot recommend Shoreline Jiu Jitsu enough! It is truly a special place, and I am so grateful my two boys have been training here since this summer. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was different from the typical gym. Shoreline Jiu Jitsu is a happy, welcoming space where my kids are excited to go to class. Coach Max, a black belt with years of experience, has such an incredible teaching method that keeps my kids engaged and motivated.
