Professor Ben, the coaches and students have always been very welcoming, helpful, and amazing to be around. Always great vibes on the mats every time we go. I started at 38, I can go at my own pace and it has been great for my overall mental and physical health. Highly recommend!”

“Had a fantastic time training at six blades in Yorktown. I came from northern Virginia and was looking to get in a tough GI session. Six blades delivered that and much more. The patience of the instructor and the other higher belt students was immaculate. Every time I come through this way, I will be asking to attend a class! “While over spring break in Norfolk, I trained at six blades. I attended a Thursday Class and Friday open mat. I had a great time. Welcoming environment where students and professors did not hesitate to introduce themselves. I got to roll and learn from Professor Ben Eaton, who is a great teacher. Six Blades in Yorktown is worth the trip!!!”

A place rich in discipline and friendship, i felt apart of the Six Blades community immediately. If you’re a dedicated competitor, Master B has the experience to get you ready. “One of the best academy’s I’ve been a part of and my kids enjoyed it here as well. Wanted to ensure my children learned self-defense, are respectful, disciplined, and remain humble and this academy embodies these traits. We were PCS’d here for a short period but loved Six Blades Academy. Professor Ben and the instructors are great people. Highly recommend for all military personnel and dependents coming to the area!”
