“I am impressed with the Smith BJJ Academy. I stopped over for a couple classes when visiting family in Atlanta, Georgia this summer 2021. And this is what I thought about Professor Smith's school. Professor Smith runs a good school that's clean and self-defense based. He seems to follow a solid curriculum when teaching technique. He goes by a less is more approach when teaching self-defense and the ground game. You get alot of reps and practice when learning (refining) technique. His students are kind and friendly. No one has an ego. Most importantly everybody rolls safely. When rolling with professor Smith I felt like he was a high level practitioner of the art. Very technical and smooth. I also enjoyed talking to him. He seemed like a cool guy. We were able to find commonalities between us. I felt welcomed at every session. I truly plan on returning to the Academy when I return to Atlanta next time. If you're in the McDonough area, go check out the school. You will not be disappointed.”
