Very awesome gym to roll at , the atmosphere is amazing , the people are very welcoming and it’s a good time. Very cool to see law enforcement take part and have positive interactions with the community. In today’s crazy world , we need more of that. Very good learning atmosphere for kids to teach them the principles and fundamentals of BJJ. The owner makes you feel welcome and like family .

I’m visiting from SoCal and wasn’t sure if I would be able to find good training in Muskogee. Coach Buddy and everyone on the mats were welcoming and offered up some good quality techniques and solid rolls. Great mats and lots of space to roll. I’m looking forward to dropping in again. Thank you!

Great place to roll! Best gym in town. Coaches are very knowledgeable and teach how to roll safely. Real world applications added for confidence in personal protection.

I am deeply concerned about the safety and respect given to students at your classes. There were troubling incidents on July 22 that I need to address. The instructor made a derogatory comment "it's just a woman" about a woman's ability during a class. This attitude undermines the purpose of learning self-defense against potential harm. It's also derogatory. New students, including women, joined the class to empower themselves and were met with restrictions, such as no water breaks and harsh physical interactions. The instructor's behavior, including slapping kids, pushing and pulling on their gi's and using controlling interactions. Pulling them around vs guiding them ( the whole time) where to go is unacceptable and damaging to their confidence as a human let alone - small human. I don't want to be pushed and pulled around like that. I won't allow it. The instructor's emphasis on pain rather than fun in training is concerning, " this shouldn't be fun it should be pain. " is not acceptable. as learning martial arts should be enjoyable and engaging. And safe until you know your limits - thats how injuries occur. All sports are this way. Safety first. Not pain. Working hard isn't pain. Pain is getting slapped on the head for no reason or pushing yourself too hard with no water. This negative experience is not what I expect from a reputable dojo. I want my children, both boys and girls, to feel safe, respected, and empowered during their training sessions. The disrespectful behavior displayed by the instructor is unacceptable, and we will not continue training at this location. Our experience at your dojo was the worst we've encountered, and we will be seeking a more welcoming and supportive environment for our training. We are looking for an instructor who embodies honor and respect, like Mr. Miyagi, not someone who resembles the antagonistic teacher from Cobra Kai. My priority is for the children to have a positive and enriching experience in their martial arts training, which was lacking at your establishment. We want to be around good guys. Not scary guys. We have decided to explore other options in Tulsa ( we chose Jedi Juijitzu, twice the cost and two hours of driving, very worth it as hes a GOOD guy) where we can feel safe and welcomed without the fear of being bullied by an instructor. The negative experience we encountered is not something we are willing to pay for. It is essential for the well-being and growth of the children that they train in a supportive and respectful environment, which we did not find at your establishment. Also hearing your police officer mention turning off his body camera in class was quite disturbing, especially given how people now see officers in 2024. I think we all in some way fear them as they do hold an authority and power. And to go against one in my own hometown, must be done but definitely doesn't feel safe or good. But I am not scared. Of any man. My dad beat that out of me. So if anyone's guna say it, I guess I have to. I'm saddened the other parents accept and agree to this type of environment for their precious children, but they all seemed zoned out and not even paying attention. Bad form Soaring Eagle!!!! Mr Ceasar I haven't met you, but you know this guy and his teaching style. I didn't come to you directly, because you already know what hes doing and that means you accept it, so I can't work with you either. Honor first always. Respect to others always. Mr buddy isn't that. He's a bully. Not a teacher. I was recording almost the whole time. I have two phones. I wonder if the public heard about the body cam and it's just a woman I wonder what the public would think? I won't. But think about it. .... I just wonder how the public would take that? Crazy thought. Bad form.
