“Went here recently and I was pretty surprised on how poorly ran it is. Firstly the instructors shouldn’t even be called that quite frankly. Instead of teaching moves, set ups and basic techniques, they try to showcase very fancy and high level moves that your average starting practitioner would never be able to use such as a rolling knee bar. It’s like we can all learn that but most of the people in there can’t even pass guard. Very poor learning environment. Also they had this Brazilian guy in there who was a black belt and it was very strange. He seemed to be scamming the owners because he offered nothing to the class and then aggressively rolled with all the lower belts, even injuring some of them. The instructor’s don’t watch over anyone as they roll either. They make it a free for all and promote roughness. You’re pretty much paying to be a part of an organized mosh pit. Another point I’ll add is that one of the newer students went to ask a simple question about one of the moves being taught and the instructor got mad and tried making him look like a fool for asking a basic question. We all looked at each other perplexed because the whole thing seemed like an innocent enough question. Don’t waste your time, money or well being coming here. Place is a household of ego and bad vibes.”
“New gym in warrensburg that focuses on bjj, a litttle judo, and no gi rolling. Small group just starting, but coaches are great and its definitely more than a gym, but also a great community.”
“Awesome gym to train bjj gi and no-gi. Professor Ruben, Josh, and Austin are very professional and offer great instruction. Come train!”
