“I wanted to wait to see if I could stick it out for a year before I posted a review for this gym. We'll, it's been a year, and I can honestly say there is no other place I would rather be. I started bjj late in life at 49, turning 50. First, every instructor there has a heart of a teacher. Their knowledge is beyond impressive. They will take the time to work with you and explain why and how on the techniques. The students in class are also awesome. No egos. If you're new, the students who have been there for a while will let you "work." I remember when I first got there, everyone talked about the "culture" of the gym. They were correct. The culture, imo is second to none. Stout seems to me like not only a team but a family. If you're older, like me or younger, just starting out, you would do yourself a disservice by not coming to Stout.”
