“Strong Arm Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been an incredible blessing for me and my grandson. Is it easy: Absolutely not, but very rewarding. We’ve been members of this family for about 1 1/2 years; and make no mistake, this is a very welcoming and accepting family. BJJ is the focus, but there are also a Wrestling and Tae Kwon Do programs available. Fantastic instructors! For my grandson who was 6 yrs old when he started: he always wanted to go from the beginning, but he had serious focus issues. Those issues have greatly diminished with the behavior expectations and standards to which this Strong Arm family holds him accountable. My grandson has developed the skill and confidence to successfully complete in grappling tournaments throughout Texas. Strong Arm kids are always on the medal podium. People are generally highly impressed. For me at age 57, there was a 3-4 week adjustment period. I’d roll and would barely be able to move for a few days, but I’m glad I stuck with it. There are many higher level belts that help teach me & are careful not to hurt me too bad or let me hurt myself. I could go on & on, but like I said, being a part of this family is a blessing. Way more than I deserve.”

“Strong Arm has is an excellent jiu jitsu academy. Actually, it is more than just jiu jitsu. They offer Tae Kwondo, wrestling, and mma as well. The coaching is bar none the best I have ever experienced. It all starts from the top with the founder and head coach Justin and his wife Lisa. They also offer a great kids experience. My 7yo daughter has been going for more than a year, and she really looks forward to each class. She has a great time learning discipline, technique and just has a lot of fun. Often encounters end up in a grappling situation where an LEO will have to subdue and gain control of a subject.
