“I dont know what it is about this gym, but it is a really unique one in the area compared to some of the others. There's people who come from different grappling based backgrounds other than jiu jitsu, such as wrestling or judo. You learn a little bit of everything that will really add your game and techniques! Keep in mind that this is a competition gym, so the intensity is different from that of the other gyms in the nearby area. However, I am only speaking from my experience, so don't let that stop you because everyone here is friendly and they're more than willing to help. Whether you are a total beginner or have experience, this gym always has a place for you and they will welcome you with open arms! For the beginners, their fundamentals class will offer everything that you need to get started. Try your skills at open mat! This is where the fun is! You will truly meet people with different skill sets here. As for the instructor Diogo, he will really push you to your limits and will always encourage you to do your best. He cares about the safety of the gym's members and will remind you to train safely and smart when necessary. Sometimes, there is another instructor at their no-gi beginner's classes. He is equally informative and goes over many useful techniques. Last but not least...Eleni! She keeps this place running and will help you with anything regarding your membership account. She's also a great training partner and a friendly person. This gym also offers gi and no-gi for beginners and advanced levels. They also have kids classes if you have kids who are interested in jiu jitsu.”

“Visiting from Las Vegas dropped into the advanced GI class. The gym was very clean and had free weights in a separate room to warm up with. The professor and class were very welcoming and were equally talented on the mats. Everything revolved around a technique/concept including the warm ups which maximized the mat and repetition time which personally helps me retain. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back.”

“Summit Jiu Jitsu is amazing and very welcoming! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I feel safe training there, I learn a lot every class, and I always have a ton of fun! The facility also has weights (barbell, trap bar for deadlifts, pull up bar, dumbbells, and more). It is nice to get a nice workout in before class starts. The professors encourage and motivate you, the students are kind, humble, and compassionate. And everyone is very talented, both the instructors and the students! Instructors and students alike compete very often, and everyone does extremely well at competitions (a great sign of a great school)! This school will help you learn and master so many skills needed both on and off the mats. Finally and most importantly, Summit is a great place to make new friends. I joined when I first moved to the area, and Summit helped make this city feel like home. Highly recommend everyone of all ages and genders to come train at Summit! You'll have an awesome experience.”
