The instructors know everyone by name and the gym has a great reputation. The pricing is fair and it feels like I am getting every penny worth out of it. One of the things I greatly respect about this gym and it's instructors is that they promote safety and technicality above all else. If you want to compete, that is of course an option, but I have never felt like anyone is being pressured to compete. I also love the fact that they lay out exactly what you need to do to promote to the next belt and all of the stripes in between. And on top of that, they genuinely want you to test and promote and there is no negative stigma about asking to test for your next stripe. Again, I cannot see myself training anywhere else and will be with this gym for the foreseeable future.”
