βAwesome environment for adults and kids!!! The owner (Daniel) is so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable for all skill levels and ages. This is one of if not the only Brazilian Jiujitsu gyms in this area. For years, the only option was to drive to Atlanta, Gwinnett county, Athens, McDonough etc. No jiu-jiu-jitsu gyms were close to Lithonia, Conyers, and Covington. The classes focus on learning and developing skill from no resistance to full resistance with live βwrestling/rollingβ, takedowns, and ground work. The higher belts really help the lower belts learn to develop their skills too. This has become a family activity for us with the kids class preceding the adult class. From young to old, preparing for a competition, or working on fitness, this is a great place to train!β
βThe sense of community here is fantastic! The coach is thorough and focused and everyone is there to learn. Come here if you want to learn fast and have a great time!β
βPositive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value Temporal and it's team offer a great sense of community! The coach is very instructive and helpful, and the other members make great partners to train with. Come here if you want to learn fast and have a great time!β
βDan is awesome! Super knowledgeable and very nice. He breaks down moves very well and makes sure you understand the technique. He has 2 locations, one in Lithonia and the other in East Atlanta Village with varied times to fit your schedule. The classes have all different skill levels and ages attending, from beginner to very experienced so if you are newer to the sport you wonβt be the only one that is just starting and if you have been in the sport a while you will have good match ups. Everyone is super nice and very friendly. He has kids classes and runs a summer program for the kids as well.β
βCoach is nice and kids have fun but it really sucks that their kids class doesn't offer practice with a gi to get the full experience. Coach states to bring a Gi but doesn't make much since when your kid is the only one with one on and cant sparr with other kids in gi their size.π€·πΎββοΈ There should be a designated gi day to encourage others to get a gi as well.β
