“Hello, my name is Ernesto Castro. I am a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I trained at multiple gyms and I wanted to express how I felt about this one. I used to train at “Art Of Persistence” here in Pleasanton. I understand the conflict within the two gyms and I never spoke against TGA. I am now training at another gym that was INVITED to train at TGA. Regardless of being a jiu jitsu practitioner, I am man of God first. I went into TGA with an open mind and forgiveness in my heart. As soon as I get there, I received ugly looks from everyone. I paid a donation for a plate sell they were having to show love on my end. I make eye contact with the owner and she says something under her breath followed by “he’s the one from the other gym” with again, another ugly look. I walk up and say “hello, my name is Ernesto thank you for having us.” She responds with “yeah, whatever.” While proceeding to roll her eyes. The whole time I was there I was extremely uncomfortable because of the way the owners made me feel, every time I looked up there was another ugly look from the owners. The students turned out to be welcoming and respectful. The owners aren’t. The mats are also extremely dirty.”
