People train hard but respectfully — no egos, just good energy and real growth. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll find super-detailed, high-level instruction in every class. BJJ classes run daily, and there’s also a clean, fully equipped gym on-site, plus strength & conditioning sessions a few times a week. It’s also a great place for families. There’s a strong kids program, a kids’ playroom, and many parents (including the owners and myself) who train bring their kids, so you still get your time on the mats. I was honored to receive my black belt here in late 2024, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to train. “It has been a positive experience going to The Academy of BJJ. Great family environment and the coaches are very informative with the students when teaching the techniques. I have my 5-year-old son enrolled here to learn confidence and be more assertive. Every week you can see him growing from learning to work hard. The kids BJJ program is exceptional and my son is really enjoying the classes. Besides the kids program the facility is well kept and very clean.
