“I was recently visiting CO from out of town & dropped in to train BJJ for a few days at Academy of Martial Arts, where I️ found an extremely welcoming atmosphere. Professor Tom was very personable & encouraging, as were all the students in each of the class I joined. Especially as a woman & someone who's fairly new to the sport, I was very encouraged to see how quickly I felt comfortable at an academy that wasn't my own, which speaks volumes of the community & culture that's been intentionally fostered here. “AMAZING INSTRUCTORS!! My two sons started here about 2.5 years ago and they have gained a ton of confidence, made so many friends and are LOVING Jiu Jitsu. My younger son is doing competitions and learning so much. The staff is awesome. They really take the time to work with students of all ages and abilities. The other members are also great. The more advanced members that train with my sons give them extra tips and help them improve. This place is a family, a tribe. I have never been pushed to spend more than I want. They offer a ton of classes. Jiu Jitsu (Gi and No Gi), Judo, kick boxing, yoga, summer camps, and they even have Women’s and Senior classes. My sister and I took a self defense class and we had so much fun. This is the kind of place I feel safe leaving my kids with because I can see how much they care and how well they train their staff. My family trains here and I know these are wonderful people sharing their passion with our community. We love Monument Academy of Martial Arts! They are the best.”
