“My kids have been attending classes at Stronghold for over 3 years. This is a SAFE place for kids, girls and boys alike. Their coach, and owner, Raquel cares about them like family. Both kids have competed and won medals, but this gym isn't about winning it's about building confidence, community and life skills. This is a great place for families. Moms can take classes too! Gorgeous new location in Liberty Station with lots of parking.”

“Coach Raquel and Coach Caesar are very encouraging! The Stronghold has a family vibe, also has a Tea Area and they offer Art Camp for kids. Very good workout, I felt great after Coach Caesar’s teaching on S-Mount. I recommend!”

“The Stronghold is our home away from home. we started coming here 2 years ago for our now 5 and 7 year old to train. Now the whole family trains and we can't say enough good things not only about Coach Raquel and professor Johnny, but the entire jiu jitsu family we have joined. Everyone looks out for one another and lends a helping hand. The classes are wonderful and the kids just adore their instructors. Shout out to the wonderful coaches and professors for teaching this beautiful art and sharing their knowledge with the community.”

“Over the last couple years I've had the opportunity to work with and learn from a lot of amazing people at Stronghold. BJJ has been the most humbling, frustrating, and rewarding thing I have ever done. The professors here are always willing to take extra time to make sure everyone understands the moves and concepts. Professors Mike, Johnny, Vince and John have a ton of knowledge they are constantly sharing with their students. Great place for families, athletes, competitors, or people just looking to get in shape and pick up a couple self defense skills along the way.”
