“I had no idea these people were this bad until I came here to share my experience! I came to MAS after being burned by another martial arts gear company. I placed several orders with them. I just loved their quick service and, while they don’t have the largest inventory, I was happy to order from them because they had what I needed and shipped quickly. I told everyone about this place. I take TKD, TaiChi and Kung Fu. I need a lot of stuff and they fit the bill! But - my last 2 orders from them were a disaster. One order was terribly messed up, but it was fixed quickly! Things happen and I was very satisfied with the fix. This time, I ordered a sword and added 2 magazines ($2) each just to be under the next shipping charge. I was promptly refunded the sword cost because it was out of stock, but they still charged me $19.34 for 2 ea $2 magazines + $15 shipping and $6.29 taxes!!! After 3 calls, they ended up refunding me another $7, stating that it is $8 shipping no matter what. Who buys $4 worth of magazines for $19 or $12, either? They could have called me and asked if I still wanted the magazines for that price. I called these people 3 times and got no response other than a terse email stating that their phone line is being worked on. Well – I call BS on that because then how did you get any of my messages if the line was down? I only called and didn’t email. So, yeah. This was their response: ‘I am not able to return your call as my line is currently being worked on. The sword was refunded as we are out of stock. Standard shipping is $8 no matter the cost of the item purchased. The $7 refund is the difference in the shipping cost. You are welcome to return the magazines if you wish however, please note the remaining $8 will not be refunded. Thank you and have a great day,’ I won’t be returning this shipment because I’m not confident I will get my money back from these scammers. I was just getting ready to place another large order. I hope this was worth it to them to keep my $8! I will let everyone I know and the prospective customers know and the BBB know about these people’s scam they have going on $8 at a time!”

Their staff have been friendly when calling in lengthy belt orders and/or answering any number of my questions about their varied product line. The turnaround time on their order processing is very good and I'm very comfortable with relying on this company. I'm impressed by their commitment to serving the martial arts industry.”

“Absolutely horrible service now a days! have been ordering from them for years but recently (last 2 years) has been falling apart! Packages are often wrong and then getting that fixed takes forever. Employees don't seem to care about business owners. I will be finding a new place for uniforms as fast as possible! Stay away!”

“Placed an order Monday and was assured it was going out Tuesday and would arrive by Thursday. I called Tuesday because I haven't received a notification that it had sent. I was again reassured that the order was going out that night and would be here Thursday. Today I got an email saying that the package left the facility and would be here Friday. After two phone calls asking that the package be here Thursday even if I had to pay extra to be here sooner and now its going to be here Friday. I called at 6:25 (I know it closes at 6:30 but that's when I got the email) and it went to voicemail. Your voicemail box is full by the way.”
