“Top Level Martial Arts is outstanding. I attended Kendall’s 11 am Nogi Open Ranks class. Kendall is an excellent teacher. He is thorough and practical, teaching all the important details of high percentage moves. He’s also patient and just a fantastic teacher in general. He made sure we all understood, never rushed us, and kept the class engaging. I’m in my 50s and was the oldest guy by far, but I had excellent, safe rolls with a bunch of really good, really athletic younger guys. Everyone was there to train and get better so there were no egos. My favorite way to gauge a gym is if I get to roll with a coach or owner. I stayed for the open mat and got to roll with Kendall and the owner Chris. They could’ve tapped me every few seconds, but they pace-matched and let me work on my game. Then they kindly answered all my questions after. Great guys - great gym - great experience. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out Top Level Martial Arts.”
