“I cannot speak highly enough of Ultimate Submissiom Academy. My son has been training at USA for 1 1/2 years and my daughter for 6 months (since she turned 4). They absolutely love it. The owner and his family are amazing—very kind and caring people. All the coaches have a true passion and love for what they do and it shows. The kids roll hard and challenge each other, but they also take care of one another. It’s a very family oriented environment—from it being a family owned gym, to the kids who have a brother-sister type relationship, to the parents who grow close. The other gym in Floresville is also very welcoming with it being a small town. There are a lot of homeschooled kids and the morning classes are great for P.E time. As hard as you’re willing to work is as hard as the coaches are willing to train you. The kids that compete are pushed harder than the kids that do this just for fun. My son has been on both ends of the spectrum and has always received quality, sufficient training for whatever his goals. We did the free week trial here after doing a day trial at Ohana and HOJ. There was no debate that USA was the gym for us! This has been the best investment we’ve made regarding our kids. Not only do they learn practical skills to defend themselves, but they also learn hard work, discipline, and to be a good person overall.”
