Everyone there was welcoming and kind — humble practitioners with a good depth of knowledge. I had fun rolls with good people and learned from them in a welcoming and safe environment. I'm grateful for the experience and hospitality. If I lived in the area I would definitely train here regularly. I look forward to taking in another session next time I'm in town!”

“Awesome experience from start until present! Eric Myers is a wonderful influence and mentor for children, and he genuinely cares about their home lives just as much as he does their time in the dojo; if they aren't doing what they're supposed to then their outside behaviors and any lack of responsibility at home does affect whether he lets them perform in class or not and I really appreciate that... If they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing he'll make sure and address it with the child but also try to work with them and fix whatever issue they're having with the parents, and I think that's pretty cool! The other instructors there are pretty great and most seem to be students that have graduated up and I've been there for a while, so that speaks to the environment they have... Just very welcoming and inclusive - there's no competition or tension prompted or promoted, no pitting students against one another or any favoritism like you hear about going on at other places- the kids genuinely seem to have fun and enjoy themselves!”
