“I started coming to Warrior six months ago because I promised myself that I would get into a regular exercise habit before I hit 40. I hadn’t exercised consistently in about five years—thanks to the pandemic, having two babies, work, and, honestly, just life. Every time I thought about getting back into a routine, the idea of going to the gym or getting on the Peleton bike felt like this huge mental hurdle. I needed something different- something that didn’t feel like a chore and that fit my schedule. I was definitely intimidated at first. As a woman, the idea of doing something so physical, especially in a mostly male environment, was way outside my comfort zone. But from the first class, the vibe was super welcoming and low-pressure. The coaches are great at meeting you where you're at, and there’s a real focus on learning, safety, and building confidence at your own pace. And the best part? It’s actually fun and meeting people I normally would not meet has been exciting. Every class challenges me, but in the best way. I’m getting stronger, I’m learning new skills, and I’m doing something just for me—which is rare when you're a mom juggling kids and work. If you’re someone who’s been out of the game for a while, or if the idea of walking into a gym makes you cringe, I seriously recommend giving this a try. You don’t have to be in shape. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. Just show up. I did—and I’m so glad I took that first step.”
