“I had the pleasure of training some BJJ with West Coast MMA earlier this year and this review is way past due. I can’t gush enough about the entire experience. I dropped in with some friends for a Sunday gi class with Coach Jose Ramirez who taught some awesome spider guard details. The curriculum and teaching approach was fantastic. All the students and teachers there were so welcoming and accommodating and helpful. The facilities are top notch. The mats are super clean. They have showers, and I think even a sauna. Culture is often the most important part of any combat sport academy and West Coast MMA has it in spades. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would 100% recommend this academy to anyone, whether they are experienced competitors, brand new to Jiu Jitsu or combat training, or anything in between. Thanks Coach Jose, Matt, Froggy and the entire crew for the hospitality, the sweat and the technique!”
