“My daughter started Zicro Academy (BJJ) at age 4 and has been there for a year and a half now and loves it. Felipe and Ms. Natalie are wonderful with the kids. Felipe is like a big kid himself with the younger class and keeps them engaged. They begin most training sessions with a fun game to warm-up before moving on to the technique of the week. Then, through repetition, they build on from there, until they get to the kids’ favorite, “fight time”, where they get to put what they’ve learned into practice. My daughter has improved her coordination and strength, and through healthy competition in the warm-up games, has become more sportsmanlike and doesn’t get as upset if she loses. She will carry the self-defense techniques that she’s learned here with her for the rest of her life.”
