"I’ve been training at this gym for about three months now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From day one, the environment has been incredibly welcoming—everyone, from the coaches to the students, makes you feel like part of the team. Coaches Kevin and Josh are standout instructors. Their knowledge of no-gi BJJ is deep, and more importantly, they know how to teach it. They break down techniques clearly, adapt to different experience levels, and are always engaged—giving individual attention, answering questions, and helping you refine your game. You can tell they genuinely care about helping you improve. The training partners here are also a huge part of what makes this place great. This is the 3rd gym I've trained at in 2 different states and this is without a doubt the strong group of grapplers I've trained with. Whether you're brand new or more experienced, people are respectful, encouraging, and always pushing each other to get better. There’s a strong sense of community and growth on the mats. If you’re looking for a serious, high-quality no-gi program with great coaching and a supportive team culture, I highly recommend checking this gym out."

First, there is lots of mat space at this gym. Two, there’s workout equipment and showers. Lots of merch available too! But most importantly, a great gym culture here. I will be back soon. "This is my third review ever but it's the most important. This BJJ gym was recommended to be by a friend and I'm so glad he did. 10th Planet Poway is a great place to train and make friends. I have wrestled and coached wrestling since 1998. I have a solid martial arts background. All of the coaches are knowledgeable and everyone that trains does so with the knowledge that we're all adults and have to to work tomorrow (not trying to hurt others). I have learned so much and have enjoyed every class. Absolutely train at this location, you won't regret it."
