Caitlin Honaker
"We have been going here for years (maybe 6 years or more). We have a child in the Tiny Sharks Jiujitsu class and 2 children in the advanced /kids Jiujitsu program. The owner/ instructor of the jiujitsu classes is THE BEST! He is stern but so funny and the kids are learning so much from him. We LOVE 5280 Martial Arts! Side note - they do parties!"
Monica Bennett
"We absolutely love 5280. We tried it and never looked back. We immediately knew this was the perfect place for our son, who is special needs. They have been accommodating and inclusive. Not only that, but it’s a positive place with a great vibe. The instructor, Kevin, has great knowledge and you can tell he knows what he is talking about. They work really hard to make sure every child is included and understands. My son has learned so much and he loves going there. I recommend to anyone who wants to learn jui jitsu or martial arts, to start here at 5280! You wont regret it."

"Absolutely love 5280 Martial Arts Academy! The instruction here is top-notch; every coach is knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping you grow, no matter your skill level. What sets 5280 apart is the strong sense of family and community, you feel welcomed and supported from day one. My family and I have grown so much here, not just in our martial arts skills but also in confidence, discipline, and health. It's a place where we’ve found mentorship, friendships, and the skills to protect ourselves. 5280 goes beyond teaching techniques; it builds character, resilience, and a real sense of belonging. Couldn’t recommend it enough!"
Kristina Russell
"We switched to this school from another local school, and we’ve been loving it. Compared to other schools we visited and toured, the practice area is big enough and has appropriate lighting; there is also a good amount of space for parents with decent zoning where you can watch the kiddos practice or work while waiting. Coach Kevin treats everyone as a family and has a lot of practice with diverse exercises implemented into his coaching. He also focuses on implementing the rules of Jiu-jitsu in everyday life."
