As a white belt still early in my training I didn’t want to miss two weeks of mat time while I traveled to Orlando for work. Ten time world champion Bruno Malfacine teaches fundamentals for white belts all the way through to advanced classes for champion black belts. His extremely comprehensive curriculum chains together moves each class and progresses every week of the curriculum guaranteeing you’ll learn a sequence that can immediately be applied both for self defense and competition settings. In addition to group lessons I took 1:1 sessions with both owner Bruno as well as his head of staff purple belt Steven. Both were phenomenal experiences. For those looking for a more economical option to drill down on the fundamentals I strongly recommend investing in a five pack or more of lessons with Steven. His mini master course of Jiu Jitsu fundamentals is a game changer for white belts. I had a wonderful experience at this gym and look forward to training there again on my next trip to the area."
