"I started training martial arts in 3rd grade and will turn 58 in a month. I have trained at multiple gyms from around the country, as well. I have never trained at a better gym than BTT Dominion. As a coach to elite athletes myself, I have a unique perspective on building a team. Coach Jason and Coach Karim create a culture and atmosphere that is safe, demanding and accommodating. I recommend them to anyone who will listen to me, haha. "I would strongly caution any parent considering enrolling their child at Brazilian Top Team Dominion. Our experience has been extremely disappointing. During the last promotion ceremony, the coaches humiliated my son in front of his peers, and this is not the first time they have created situations designed to embarrass him. It has become clear that favoritism plays a major role here. Children of the coaches’ friends consistently receive belt promotions, even when their skill level does not warrant it, while more deserving students are overlooked. It’s disheartening and damaging, especially for young kids who come to class eager to learn and grow. I also urge parents to think carefully before signing a long-term contract. In my experience, the focus seems to be more on locking families into financial commitments than genuinely supporting student development. Sadly, the environment created by this coaching staff fosters hostility among children rather than camaraderie. This type of behavior reflects deeper issues within the culture they promote, and it is absolutely not healthy for young minds. I cannot recommend this facility to others based on what my family has experienced."
