"I was excited to try kick boxing because my life was just feeling like I was losing the battles I could not fight with my fists. I got a great deal on groupon, but my experience with the people was subpar. One of the instructors made a sly comment about our infants sparring against each other and the staff always seemed to be challenging me to be in fight mode even though I'd never taken any kickboxing classes before the groupon deal. I will try another gym and see if it is just boxing gym nuances that I was misunderstanding or if they were truly letting me know they didn't want me at their gym. There was also way too much pressure to sign up for a membership with them before I'd even finished the classes for the groupon deal.
