"Carlos and Flavia are some very special people. Not only are they amazing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners and instructors but they are also amazing people. They work closely with their students of all ages, thoroughly explaining the finer details of the techniques. They are always helping the community and giving back. Walking into their academy you are greeted like family and quickly accepted into the group. All the people training there are kind courteous and helpful with the new students also helping them grasp the concepts and movements. They will break down and reexplain any and every new move they teach. They other participants in the gym are eager to teach and eager learn. It is a place for the young such as my son DJ who is just 3 years old, to the older such as Geoff who is just starting out at 59 years young. Master finds a way to personalize every class for each individual. We have former D1 Wrestlers, MMA fighters, down to Teachers, Firefighters and Police Officers. They are heavy supporters of the military and offer specialized classes for students with disabilities. I couldn’t imagine going to any other gym. My entire family trains here and we love this place.
