"I only got to enjoy a membership at Checkmat Fallbrook BJJ for about 4 months but I enjoyed each and every time I got to roll. Coach Jessica broke down techniques step by step in a easy to understand way. When we practiced those techniques she was always on top of answering questions and there to guide you through the process. BJJ classes were about 30 minutes technique and 30 minutes of rolling. It was a great combo of learning and then executing. All of the gym members were great to roll with...no big egos and everyone just there to learn and better themselves and others. The community of the gym was a joy to be a part of. I felt like a valued member within a short period of time. Coach gives her all to the gym... She is super accommodating to those of us with kids who may struggle to get to classes, she is expanding the classes to MMA and fitness, and she cares for each individual that walks through the doors. (Super fun and inspiring to have a female black belt coach too!) If you give Checkmat Fallbrook BJJ you will not be disappointed. ❤️"
