They have a dedicated kids' playroom, so while parents focus on their Jiu Jitsu classes, their kids are happily occupied, allowing for peace of mind. This gym is the cleanest place I’ve ever seen; it’s evident that the owners take pride in maintaining an immaculate environment. The classes offered are exceptional, catering to all skill levels, and I particularly appreciate the women’s open mats and classes that foster a supportive community. What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to giving back. They actively work with the community to collect used gear for underprivileged families, which speaks volumes about their values. The owners are personable and respectful, making everyone feel welcome and part of the family. "I can't recommend Combate Academy enough! Super welcoming vibe from the second you walk in. Everyone from the coaches to the students was friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. No ego, just a bunch of people who love jiu-jitsu and want to help each other get better. The gym itself is really clean. Mats were spotless, and the whole place just felt well taken care of. They have lockers rooms for women/men separate from bathrooms. Can tell they put effort into creating a good training environment.
