Daruma Dojo Milpitas

"I'm a white belt at Daruma Dojo. I've been going to the new location, Daruma Dojo Milpitas, weekly for nearly two months. It's a great environment. They have a proper shower and lockers. Beyond the facilities, Daruma Dojo is a great school with knowledgeable and friendly professors. Professor Alberto personally helped me when I was preparing for my first tournament held last month. He gave me the time and attention I needed to be confident in my game. What's more is that it's not only Professor Alberto who is this way. All of the instructors take the time to work with you on a personal level. Just show up and they'll be there waiting for you in open guards."

"My son and I recently joined. From day one, the instructors, the office staff, and the individuals on the mat have all been very welcoming. They also have various classes, for the different levels. As a beginner, I found the BJJ 101 class to be extremely helpful. I also like to attend different classes during the week. I have personally felt that even if I’m in a slightly more advanced class, I never feel like I am being left behind. Whether it’s the instructors, or other individuals on the mat, everyone seems like they are there to help each other. I would definitely recommend Daruma Dojo!
