"My son has been training at Denys Darzi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for many years, and I recently started training as an adult. This is a phenomenal school with a welcoming and encouraging culture. Denys and his instructors have decades worth of experience and teach in a way that’s both effective and understanding. Denys has personally trained under the first generation of BJJ practitioners growing up in Brazil, and is extremely accomplished in his own right. You won’t find a BJJ school where you can learn from a teacher with this kind of pedigree in such an intimate and personal environment. The culture around the school is one of family, and no matter what your skill level is or background in martial arts, they make sure you learn proper techniques and strategies to improve. I really enjoy training jiu-jitsu for the benefits, including cardio, strength and self-confidence. It’s a wonderful sport and exercise, with extremely useful self-defense applications.
