"This review is long overdue since my daughters started training here in 2017 at 5 and 7 years old. If you're thinking of training real deal Brazilian jiu jitsu or enrolling your child, in a welcoming, family oriented, safe and clean academy, then GB Long Beach is the place you want to be! Very high level instruction and lots of skilled training partners for kids up through adults. It's been an amazing experience to watch my children's growth Gi and No Gi jiu jitsu and all the intangibles this school has taught them like discipline, self confidence, character, sportsmanship, loyalty etc... Professor Rodrigo, Prof. Mike, Prof. Mitchell, Coach Meg and so many others that there's to many to type have been guardian angels in my daughters lives and an integral part of their development. I would highly recommend Gracie Barra Long Beach, in my humble opinion it's the absolute best BJJ gym in Long Beach and Southern California! One of the best decision I ever made was signing them up and making sure they stayed consistent coming to class to learn!
