"I looked into all Jiu Jitsu gyms in the 707. My prerequisites were: 1. That the gym be family friendly. 2. Host a quality Jiu Jitsu for myself and my two daughters 3. Be Law Enforcement and Military friendly 4. Cleanliness (Some gyms have bugs) 5. Had to be a place where women and men could train 6. Provide a friendly atmosphere Team Alpha Vacaville meet all my requirements and more. They offer free No GI two classes a week for LEO and military. And, provide a LEO and Military discount if you are willing to attend traditional BJJ courses. Andre Carson and Kastania are a married couple that both instruct. Kastania hosts a women’s only class on Saturdays, which my 13 year old daughter enjoys. They offer a free trial week, so why not come by and give it a try. I began Jiu Jitsu looking for a new adventure after retirement from the Army. In a little over a year I have participated in a few competitions and learned that the Jiu Jitsu you learn at Team Alpha Vacaville is substantially better than the competitors. My daughter has placed gold in numerous competitions and her development off the mat reflect the discipline she learns at the gym."
