"My 7-year old son did not have a positive experience here. I thought it would help build and improve his confidence, it was most of the time the opposite. He left wondering why he couldn’t do something right or why he was told to just watch. The instructor’s solution: It’s my young son’s fault, so we should pay more (on top of the hundreds already) for an extra aide in the class. With our minimal monthly payment my 3-year olds daughter ballet comes with an aide, not here. Even with a large class size, that was put on us. We are going to try a different academy. My son is discouraged but I tell him this is purely a fallacy in teaching and not Jiu-Jitsu."
