"We have been going to this school since September and I couldn't be more pleased with the instructors and level of professionalism. The owners Coach Patty and Coach Carlos are both highly experienced competitors and diligent teachers. The head of the kids programs, Coach Nefeli, is great with the kids, negotiating balance between discipline and fun. She also is a black belt in both Judo and Jiu jitsu and has competed in the olympics. My two stepsons always come out of their classes recharged and are proud to show what they learned. The instructors reinforce a sense of responsibility, respect, and discipline and they hold high standards for behavior. They also emphasize a growth mindset and encourage kids and adults to always look for ways to improve themselves. The instructors do an excellent job of recognizing and praising students who put in the extra effort. They also won't hesitate to call you out if you're acting like a clown."

"I’ve been training here for about 2 years and cannot say enough great things about the gym. The gym is spacious and super clean. They offer an abundance of classes to fit everyone’s schedule – they have am classes for all levels, several options for evening classes to accommodate different skill levels and schedules, open mats and etc. Great coaches that are dedicated and committed to their students. The program is well thought out and is focused on improving technique, continuity and building on fundamentals. The best thing about LCBJJ is the CULTURE, comradery, and family like environment.
