"This review has been long over due! When I started here almost ten years ago, I was in the process of learning about a difficult diagnosis for my daughter, and learning that I may need to donate a kidney one day. The hardest thing to hear from a doctor is, “you aren’t healthy enough right now to be a candidate to help your daughter, some things need to change.” So I started running and got myself to a healthy place, but I still wasn’t where I needed to be to be the healthiest option for her. My high school friend Hernan invited me to start training with Marco, and I’ve never left. This place helped me physically be the healthiest I had ever been since I separated from the military. Emotionally and Spiritually, Marco and Christina have created a beautiful place that I have raised my children in, and grown as a human and a father. This place is home for me. "Awesome BJJ family oriented gym. Lots of experienced upper belts train here and there is a collaborative atmosphere. It's a diverse group with high level competitors, black belts, kids, first time beginners, and everyone in between. There is something for everyone here. I wanted to start training again in 2023, but as a new dad I also didn't want to risk injury. A friend brought me here and it's been great - competitive and challenging, but still collaborative. Coaches care about teaching good technique and respecting training partners."
