"10/10 This place is incredible. No other way to put it. The atmosphere and environment is second to none. They really follow a genuine Gracie curriculum. My lead instructor Joe Taylor (Jackson site) and his instructor Carlos Mendez (Athens HQ site) received their advance belts directly from Relson Gracie himself so you know it’s the real deal. They offer, adult classes (Gi and no Gi), youth classes, kids classes, women’s self defense classes, Mui Thai and yoga (Athens site HQ). The learning is structured and thorough, which makes it fun and enjoyable. They offer a 10 classes for $10 trial period which is flat out the best deal you’ll ever get for this level of instruction. You’ll be hooked after the first class though, guarantee it. If you like learning new things & working up a good sweat, this place is for you. It’s literally the best of everything wrapped into an hour. It’s educational, it’s a workout, it’s self defense, and honestly…who doesn’t wanna learn how to defend oneself by choking someone unconscious or breaking an arm if you were put into a bad situation lol?? 😂 My entire family trains at this Jackson site 4 days a week. Myself, my fiancé, and her two boys (6 and 11). It’s become a way of life for us since starting here, and we’ve gained another family as a result of it. The other individuals we train with, we literally consider them family because the bond you forge while training is hard to explain but we wouldn’t trade it for the world. Learning jiu jitsu has changed our lives for the better and we owe that solely to One Academy and it’s leaders. 🤙🤙"

"My kids, myself amd even my ex wife all attend. Cannot beat the price point with everything you are able to get for it. Training is 6 days a week and multiple times a day with the opportunity for muay thai, jiu jitsu, and judo. "I was visiting Jackson for some work training for a week and I called and asked Coach Joe if I could swing in and roll and he was super cool and invited me to train with them all week. I’ve been to a lot of BJJ gyms and this one has one of the coolest atmospheres you can hope for. It’s a cool relaxed vibe, but still pushes you to be a competition level (if you want to be). No macho man, steroid rage feels here! Clearly what Coach Joe is doing is paying off because the amount of competition medals he has hanging on his walls should probably require additional structural reinforcement to the building. I like the very obvious Gracie style teaching and the mixture of people that attend make it really a great atmosphere. The first night I attended it was almost 50% females which I have never seen at any gym. My only regret is that I’ll likely never get to come back here again because I live so far away. All in all, no matter what experience level you have in BJJ or you just want to see what all the hype is about- stop delaying and stop in to One Academy Jackson."
