"Dropped in for the competition gi class taught by professor Marcelo Herz. I was immediately welcomed and treated very well. It was a large class of advanced ranked athletes of all sizes and had the perfect mix of technique and rolling for a competition class. The most important thing I noticed was the gym culture was very healthy. My training partner James was a rad dude. Professors Marcelo and Francis were both class acts. Professor Marcelo and I had a very technical roll where he showcased some really beautiful jiujitsu, despite our weight discrepancy. Professor Francis took extra time with me after class to discuss all sorts of topics including ageing and parenting within the context of jiujitsu. Yah k you very much and I Highly recommend."

Sensei Marcelo and Francis are wonderful professionals that knows how to teach a class, explain the concept of what we are doing, and regardless of your level, they will take as long as you need to teach you the correct way! When I first started I was a little bit shy because I didn’t know anyone and it was a new environment , and I didn’t knew anything , so it was intimidating. Although in my first day I already felt like I belonged there, teachers and the students are open minded and super friendly. When you’re drilling with someone more experienced than you, they will do everything to help you out with whatever is troubling you, inside or outside the mat. The schedules are really flexible, so you can always fit a time on your day to go and train. It is also a great place to make friends! Highly recommend to anyone that has or has never trained before. I’ve been going to RG Doral for over 2 months now, and let me tell you it’s addicting. When class ends you’re already looking forward for the next one😂 I even got my girlfriend into it, she’s been going for a week now and loves it! -Ale🇧🇷"
