Amazing place to train, you can achieve all you fitness goals here to practice and participate in a tournament. Instructors are friendly and will help you according to your goals. There's an outgoing offer which allows you to take 3 classes in $19.99. they also loan you gloves so you dont have to buy them incase you are not sure about continuing (get your own handwraps).

Just based off the review and how the owner respond to the the negative one tell me this not the gym for me I read one where somebody had an issue and they use the oldest lie in the book "couldn't find evidence of your attendance" don't go here and if u did and they did the same sue them

Great facility, friendly coaches and team, fun classes. I went for the BJJ classes and everyone was very welcoming.

I was excited to try kick boxing because my life was just feeling like I was losing the battles I could not fight with my fists. I got a great deal on groupon, but my experience with the people was subpar. One of the instructors made a sly comment about our infants sparring against each other and the staff always seemed to be challenging me to be in fight mode even though I'd never taken any kickboxing classes before the groupon deal. I will try another gym and see if it is just boxing gym nuances that I was misunderstanding or if they were truly letting me know they didn't want me at their gym. There was also way too much pressure to sign up for a membership with them before I'd even finished the classes for the groupon deal. Hi Brooklyn Martial Arts, I've attached a photo with a reference number for my groupon classes redeemed at your gym. Arianna Anais Butler

Professor Pete and BMA changed my life. It’s rare to find a training environment with such a diverse and welcoming cast of instructors and students. At BMA, you get to train with and learn from musicians, programmers, city employees, teachers, doctors, artists, and everything in between. Professor Pete draws on decades of knowledge and a deep love of martial arts in his teaching. Billy’s morning class is excellent, as is Boom’s Sunday class and then open mat. I began training in 2019 and I plan to practice BJJ as long as I can get out of bed and make it to the gym. I’ve since moved out of Brooklyn but will always remember my time at BMA. Osu!
