“Out of town firefighter, here for a few weeks, looked up local gyms, and found Hensley Jiu Jitsu. Professor Hensley’s welcomed me into his gym, introduced me to his practitioners who were friendly and welcoming. Professor Hensley showed a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the sport of Jiu Jitsu. His instructions were clear for Gi and no-gi classes, patient and always asked if we needed another demonstration. The gym was clean, large mat area for rolling, changing room and shower a plus. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.”

He has dedicated his whole life to this sport and it shows in the quality of Jiu Jitsu he teaches. He articulates the technique extremely well so everyone can comprehend. Professor Hensley would also never ask you to do anything he wouldn’t do, whether it’s in training or competition he stays very active in this sport.”
