“I can't say enough good things about Lucas Lepri Jiu Jitsu Academy in Charlotte! I moved here a little over 2 years ago, the whole team was (and is) so nice and welcomed me in immediately. The environment they've created in the gym is fantastic. A culture of helping each other get better, respect, fun, and safe training. Professor Lucas, Edson, and all of the coaches are incredibly skilled, great teachers, and great people. Both adult and kid programs are top notch! I've made so many awesome friends here, and my jiu jitsu has noticeably improved. I'm super happy to be a part of the team! Thank you all so much”

“This is a great academy. My daughter (6) and I both trained before moving to Charlotte. There is no doubt that this is elite jiu-jitsu instruction. Beyond that, I really like the culture in this academy. When it is training time, everyone is very serious about learning the techniques presented that day, but they maintain a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere while doing it. This is true the whole way down to the children's classes. I've been really impressed by the fact that Professor Lepri regularly teaches the children's classes, and there are a lot of other high-ranking belts there to help out, which is really important to make sure the kids get the most out of it. I've never seen that type of student/teacher ratio anywhere else. I'm really looking forward to training here for years to come.”

“Dropped in to a morning class as a visiting black belt passing through town. Good rolls and nice people. After class got asked to leave my info so they could collect a mat fee. Ah, ok, businesses have to pay rent. But wow, felt like I was in collections as I got multiple calls for the $45 mat fee for only a handful of quick morning rolls. Pretty pricey!”
