“I’ve been training at Of Your Back Jiu Jitsu for couple of months, and it’s been an incredible experience! Instructor Mike is highly skilled, patient, and passionate about teaching, making it a great environment for both beginners and advanced students. The gym culture is welcoming and supportive, with teammates who push you to improve while maintaining a respectful and friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to compete, get in shape, or just learn self-defense, this is the place to be. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!”
“Great place to train for losing weight or for competition. the instructor is an awesome guy. The team here is also very easy to get along with. I highly recommend this place to anyone of any experience it’s well worth giving it a try.”
“Coach Mike Green is an excellent instructor. Keeps the pace of the classes at a pace that keeps everyone engaged, also while not over-working the group. He does a great job at breaking down the various techniques he covers, showing each important fundamental of the technique. Cycling through each member of the group, he can pick up where someone might have some challenges, and coaches to help overcome those challenges. He does a great job at relating how each particular technique could be applied in a match scenario, and even in many cases where it could be used in a self-defense type scenario.”
“Off Your Back BJJ is a fantastic place to train for both newcomers and people who have been doing BJJ/grappling for a while. I’ve been here for almost 3 months, have never done any form of grappling in the past, and Mike’s instruction has been incredibly helpful and simple to understand. He has fostered a welcoming and safe, yet challenging environment that allows you to keep learning and training hard. Highly recommend for anyone new to BJJ or anyone looking for a new place to train.”
